Grammar is Your Friend

Quick post here friends. If you use a word-processing program that has a grammar check, you have to pay attention to it. I just went through a script that I wrote two years ago, has been ready by no less than twenty people, and was a quarterfinalist in the Fade In Screenplay Competition. In the script, I use the word “altar” 22 times. However, I spell the word, “alter.” The grammar check, of course picked up on this, because every “alter” was preceded by “the.” Not sure how I missed this the first time around, but so did twenty people.

The little green and red lines are your friends. See what they have to say before discounting them.
